Dear Parents and Guardians,

We appreciate your cooperation and patience during this confusing time. As you may already know, we are working with CCAP for additional funding for full time care while District 11 is requiring remote learning.  Currently, CCAP will only authorize half day care.  The Springs of Life Church would like to assist parents with care and have provided some additional funds.  We are asking that you apply for a scholarship which we will then review and determine funds.  We will continue to work with the State for full time coverage from CCAP, and will be sending out a letter soon going into further detail about CCAP and finance situations.

To prepare for remote learners we have made some adjustments to our normal schedules and procedures to help your family out as best we can. We will be providing scheduled work/quiet times for our students, access to WIFI, a safe place for laptops and tablets, and homework assistance.

Although we are here to assist, it is the ultimate responsibility of the parents to ensure that your children are completely set up with their laptops/tablets with login ids and passwords needed to complete their online sessions.  We would also ask that you tape this information onto their laptops or tablets so that the staff and children have access to that information.  It is the SOLE responsibility of the parents to ensure that all coursework is completed.

For the first day of class we will need a partnership agreement from you so that we are able to work together to provide a safe and structured environment for your children.  This  agreement will be available through the Program Director or your child’s teacher.  Please read and acknowledge the information in this agreement as quickly as possible.  We need to have this information in by the end of the day, Thursday, in order to properly prepare for the first day of remote learning on August 24, 2020.

We appreciate you and want the best for your children, we look forward to assisting you in any way we can.

Sincerely,

The Staff at SLCC
